This tutorial is for Administrators of Sesame School accounts. In this tutorial, we'll go through how to create teacher accounts and invite teachers to Sesame by uploading a .csv list.

Step 1

You can find our Teacher Upload Template here to fill in all relevant information. Important Note: Once you open the template: click 'File' -> 'Make a copy...' this way you will be able to edit the Teacher upload template.

Step 2

Once the sheet is complete with all teachers who need accounts; You need to create a .csv file. In Google Sheets click 'File' -> 'Download as' -> 'Comma Separated Values (.csv)'

In other applications: save your spreadsheet as a .csv.

Step 3

Open your Sesame Admin Panel and go to the 'Teachers' tab and click on "Upload Teacher List".

Step 4

Click on "Choose File", select your recently created Teacher list .csv file. Then click on "Upload".

Step 5

A window outlining the teacher accounts which will be added to your school will appear. If it is correct, click on "Save" in the bottom right corner.

You're done!

That's it! Your teachers will now receive invitations by email to accept and begin using their accounts.
